Software Developer Opportunity
As a Software Developer at Hutchinsons, you will support the development and evolution of the Omnia digital farming platform, a market-leading solution widely used across the agricultural sector. Your work will ensure Hutchinsons is recognised as a leading provider of digital farming expertise, delivering a platform and services of choice for the farming industry.
You will play a key role in shaping Omnia’s future, contributing to both technical design and practical delivery, and ensuring the platform continues to deliver real impact to farmers, agronomists, and advisers.
We are looking for a Software Developer with experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You should have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to write high-quality, clean code. Required technical experience includes C#/.NET, SQL Server, React.js, TypeScript, and AngularJS, RESTful APIs and OAuth 2 authentication, service-oriented architecture, and familiarity with source code management tools; experience with cloud platforms such as Azure is desirable. The role also requires excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills, along with a proactive, accountable, and customer-focused approach, a willingness to embrace change, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
